- Our global youth network is dedicated to community
and international service every interact club project, great or small,
has a lasting impact on society worldwide. Rotary and faculty advisers
must work together to insure the welfare and safety of interact club
members to the greatest possibly extent.

East Central Interact
Club
Who We Are
The Interact Club is a rotary –
sponsored service club for teens. The program gives young people an
opportunity to participate in fun, meaningful service projects while
developing leadership skills meeting new friends. Ages 14-18 may
participate in this clubs activities.
Club History &
Information
Interact is a service and social club
for young people. The first Interact club was founded on October 28,
1962. Today, there are more than 6,000 clubs around the world, each
sponsored by a Rotary club. While the Rotary club provides guidance and
inspiration, the youth clubs are self-governing and self-supporting,
giving members a chance to develop a range of leadership skills while
learning the value of teamwork.
Interact stands for international interaction. International because
Interact clubs exist in 100 countries. The East Central Interact club
carries out at least two service projects per year, as instructed by
the national club guidelines. Interact Club are self governing and self
supporting and is community based.
